NED
The New Ensemble in Desenzano was founded in 2006 in order to promote the implementation and knowledge of music by contemporary composers, breaking down the theoretical boundaries with classical music.
Works of classical composers have been alternated with works of authors such as Ennio Morricone, Giacomo Manzoni, Aldo Clementi, Francesco Valdambrini, world premiere performed and in many cases dedicated to NED Ensemble.
The group performed in concerts and is also promoter of an innovative concert season (Ned Festival) in which composers of the past centuries and contemporary artists are presented on stage without distinction, in the name of musical suggestion.
From 2012 the value of the activity of Ned has been recognized by the City of Desenzano which permits the artistic direction of the group to organize the concert season of the city, then expanded by Ned Festival.
